It’s the 21st century, most of us don’t perish because of lack of knowledge, we do so because of lack of Mental strength and will power to actualise change.

With increasing flow of information from social media, Google, increased research projects and more, coupled with improved technology and better communication lines, it’s easier for like 70% of us to access information at the comfort of our homes.

So how can a Growth Mindset help us move past the mental block of Success?

Having a growth mindset simply means believing in possibilities that you can outgrow any ‘bad’ situation that you’re in by having a plan of action and continuously working while learning on it for a better outcome, tomorrow or results. It’s very important for you to adapt this kind of thinking before you start anything new whether it’s an exercise routine, change in eating habits or even a business.

✅ It will help you in been more practical and realistic with expectations because from my experience, unrealistic expectations is the main reason people drop things that are very much achievable like businessess and Healthy living.

Remember that in anything that you want to start, there’s a learning curve which will determine how good or bad you adjust in. Plan your goals and remember to keep them REALISTIC to avoid dissapointments.

✅ The next thing that a growth mindset will help you with is building resilience to keep on going when things get tough. ‘Change is hard, Staying the same is hard ‘ so choose your hard wisely.
Resilience and Consistency in the right direction can make all the difference in the long run. Don’t just plan for start up, have a plan on how to stay consistent when things get really really tough.

✅ The next thing that a growth mindset will help you with, is the ability to learn from others who’ve succeeded in what you’re interested in.

Their strategies, what worked for them, what didn’t and many other things can not only save you alot of time, but it will also help you reduce the frustrations that come with trying out new things.

A mind that is ready to learn is one that is ready to achieve. The self absorbed individuals who think they know it all always have it slower in making strides than the open minded ones.

Also remember that, you are two different individuals so your journeys might be very different in terms of inputs and outcomes so be gentle on yourself.
