Let’s be honest—most of us wish we could skip the mud and land straight in the glory. We want to leap over the hard parts and wake up to a cheering crowd, hundreds of likes, and inboxes full of praise. But life rarely works that way.
I often meet people who ask, “How do you stay consistent, Lilian? How did you keep going when nobody was watching, liking, or even clapping?”

And here’s the truth: I’ve been through the “5 likes” phase too. That place where you pour your heart out, share your work, your truth, your knowledge—and it feels like you’re shouting into a void. It stings. It can make you question your worth.
But you know what helped me push through?
I remembered why I started.
Not for the applause. Not for the spotlight. But for the mission. The message. The people I wanted to serve—even if they didn’t see me yet.
See, we often compare our day one to someone else’s year five. But we all have different journeys, different dynamics—some have more support, fewer responsibilities, more time. That doesn’t make you less worthy. It just means your route might be longer, but still valid.
And here’s the golden truth: the glory always requires the mud. There is no fast lane to fulfillment. But the more you show up, the more you grow. Every post, every effort, every lesson builds the person you’re becoming.
So don’t stop. Don’t dim your light because someone didn’t hit “like.” Keep dreaming. Keep showing up. Keep refining your craft. Your people will find you—and when they do, they’ll be grateful you didn’t quit.
